BMW Car Raffle Benefits Medical Center

August 25, 2011
Somerset Medical Center Foundation and Open Road Auto Group are offering the chance to win a 2011 BMW X3 at the annual Far Hills Race Meeting on October 22. All proceeds will benefit Somerset Medical Center.

This mid-sized SUV, generously donated by Open Road Auto Group, has an array of special features including alpine white exterior with beige leatherette interior, heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and roof rails in aluminum satin. It has an estimated retail value of $38,565 and no cash will be given in lieu of the prize. The car is on display outside The Steeplechase Cancer Center at Somerset Medical Center on Rehill Avenue in Somerville until the day of the event.

Although tickets will be on sale at Moorland Farm on Race Day, guests are encouraged to purchase them ahead of time to ensure entry in the raffle. Each ticket is $100 and can be paid by check, credit card or cash. Tickets can be purchased by mail, online at http://www.rwjuh.edu/carraffle or www.openroad.com, at the Steeplechase Cancer Center at the Sanofi-aventis U.S. Wellness Boutique, or by calling the Somerset Medical Center Foundation at 908-685-2885. Pre-purchased tickets will be mailed to guests prior to the event. A maximum of 999 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be held at the Far Hills Race Meeting on October 22 at approximately 4 p.m., and the winner’s name will be announced at the event.
