Have an aching back? Has arthritis worn out your knees or hips? Concerned about your loved one’s risk for falls? Somerset Medical Center’s Orthopedic Expo on Nov. 1 will offer information and expert tips about bone health -- from neck to foot. The free event will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. in the medical center’s Fuld Auditorium at 110 Rehill Ave., Somerville.
The expo is geared toward all age groups and will feature interactive displays and short lectures on topics ranging from joint surgery, spine, sports medicine and rehabilitation services. Staff and physicians from the medical center’s Joint Surgery Institute, Sports Performance and Rehabilitation Center and Lifeline Program will be available to answer questions.
Light refreshments will be served. All attendees will be entered into a special raffle for tickets to an upcoming Rutgers University football game, a free personal training session at Somerset Medical Center’s Sports Performance and Rehabilitation Center and other prizes.
Flu shots will also be administered at the expo for anyone ages 18 and older. Flu shots are free. Please bring your Medicare Part B card, if applicable.
